A Thousand Stars is a quiet place to come and enjoy nature. We offer accommodation in Nieu-Bethesda for couples or families. Above all, there are amazing discoveries to be made on the paths leading from A Thousand Stars and in Nieu-Bethesda in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. In particular, there are lovely trails to walk, people to meet, places to eat, shops to buy gifts, studios with art pieces to be collected and enjoyed, as well as memories to be made with friends and family. Stay for as long as you like because we have short and long term accommodation available at A Thousand Stars, especially during the winter months when it is comparatively quiet and because, after all, it is at this time that remote workers are certainly looking for a getaway from the busy city life.

A spacious double-storey unit, ideal for families. The open-plan sleeping quarters are upstairs, with a balcony, and a beautiful view of the hillsides and mountains. Downstairs are the living area, kitchen and bathroom. Our communal back garden is to be enjoyed by all visitors.

Please respect our home as if it is your own.
Our house rules and inventory list are available on request and in the units.
Own risk for small children on the balcony and stairs, supervision is advised. Not suitable for wheelchairs.
Floor upstairs is made of wooden planks, so no jumping upstairs, please.
No loud music after 10pm.
No use of illegal drugs or substances.

This cosy unit, attached to the Duplex with a View, is suitable for smaller families and groups (sleeps 4). There is a spacious, open-plan lounge and eating nook, a kitchen, a bathroom, and one bedroom with a double bed. A bunker bed is available in the lounge. Our communal back garden is to be enjoyed by all visitors.
